    Tokens of Forgiveness
Before the foundations of the world, God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit devised a plan for the creation of mankind. Genesis tells the story of man’s fall into sin, but this is not the end of the story. Forgiveness and salvation were part of the master plan and each and every one of us is able to benefit from forgiveness and salvation because of Jesus’ crucifixion and subsequent resurrection.

We all know that God has a forgiving heart and that we are to forgive one another, but it would seem that the hardest forgiveness to accept is the forgiveness of ourselves.

    Write the Vision
The Bible instructs us to write the vision and make it plain. There is a promise contained in the Scriptures declaring that a vision is for an appointed time and will surely come to those who obey the Word of God.

I have found that the Old Testament Patriarchs like Moses, David and Elisha recorded their calling and visions on their rod. It is also confirmed in the New Testament that Jesus commanded the disciples to leave everything behind, but to take their rod, or their vision, with them.

Hearing the Voice of the Lord
Do you want to hear the voice of the Lord? There are a variety of ways in which God communicates with man, but one of the most important is through His Word. Many people expect that God should speak audibly, in a loud voice, directly into their ears. Communication is a two way street, if you want to hear from God then you need to spend time speaking with him, on a one on one basis.

God speaks to us through his Word, words of prophecy, an inner witness, dreams and visions, as well as through words of knowledge.

    Spiritual Warfare

Most Christians consider spiritual warfare as using the sword or the Word of God as our choice weapon, but the Bible says “for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal.” This is a plural statement and indicates that our artillery includes more than one weapon.

To win the war, it is vital to take our God given arrows which are “words” and shoot them at our enemy, just as God does.
